There’s a time, late on a summer evening, when shadows overtake the land and colors begin to mute. It’s during these few minutes that I find myself particularly quieted. My mind and soul seem so full that speech becomes unnecessary, even irreverent. I sit quietly and float on a reflected sky, and measure the meaning of water dripping from the tips of my oars.
