I travel extensively, guiding in Alaska over the summer months, hosting fishing and wing shooting trips to Argentina during our winter, and going wherever needed to capture images for commissioned work and other paintings. I’m constantly exposed to rare and interesting images, and it’s all too easy for me to take for granted the simple beauty of the scenes that surround me.
One of my favorite landscapes is a short hike away, and it’s particularly beautiful late on a winter afternoon, with a full moon rising over the St.Croix Valley.
